actually, bush was in europe today talking to frances pm to improve relations, the french are gradually beginning to support us again. but i do agree with you, theyre still ignorant and self-interested pricks who actually opposed taking saddam out of power only because it would conflict with thier economic interests.......the terrorists should bomb them

My family emigrated to Canada from France in the 1600's. My Grandfather lived in a French town in Northern Alberta for much of his life and spoke both English and French. My last name is "Trudel" which is clearly French.

I kinda agree with you there for the French arming of the Argentines during the Falklands war. But just because their government disagreed with an illegal pre-emptive strike & war on a country that does not posess nuclear weapons is hardly a reason for prejudice.

i personally think this is the only way the US could mount a successful attack on iran. the troop commitment in iraq is much too high, and to pull out the necessary forces wouldnt be the most intelligent move. unless a draft is reinstated (which is a possibility, although it would be limited to people with certain skills) i couldnt see the US giving Iran a full war effort other than bombing them into submission while israeli forces do the dirty work. a US-sponsored coup is another likely strategy. i dont know how they're going to do it, but there is almost definitely going to be some kind of US-backed action.
