Why are you considering a MAC? I heard they are best for video/audio/imaging and computer design, is that what you are looking for? I had a MAC Performa 10 years ago and it was great. I wasnt really savvy enough back then to determine whats best, I just used to to play Warcraft and Dark Forces.

Macs are very good for image editing and any visual or audio work. I want the new G5.

i really don't have anything against the Mac. I've been brought up on the PC and feel that they are more enjoyable to use. I just feel uncomfortable using them. As a computer user, being comfortable is the most important thing because you're infront of the damn screen so much.

MACs do perform pretty well, and theyre good for business

were picking up a laptop (my dad has to learn to use them) later this year

theyre great for school/business work, but with the pc you have buttocks.. no point

whoops they look exactly like their new monitors. i need a new laptop. my graphics card sucks i cant run another monitor off of it or it shuts down after 2 hours.
